Nominations
In mid-April of each year, the Nominating Committee of the Board solicits nominations for those interested and willing to serve on the ENA Board of Directors.
The ENA Board has a maximum of 21 members, seven of whom are typically elected each year.
The Nominating Committee sets a deadline, usually mid April of each year, for receipt of nominations for candidates. Candidates nominated by the deadline will be included in the Draft Agenda for the Members’ Annual Meeting. Additionally, nominations supported by petition of three ENA members may be made from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
You can nominate yourself and/or another candidate for the ENA Board. You can do so either online or on paper.
What do ENA Directors do?
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the ENA. Directors share their experience and talents in the exercise and control of the affairs and funds of the Association. This may include participation in the work of the various committees of the Association. Committees include welcoming, land use, communications, trees and green spaces, transportation, schools, events, and others whose initiative and mission are consistent with the purpose of the ENA.
Directors are expected to attend Board meetings unless they have notified the ENA Secretary in advance that they will not attend the meeting.
Who is eligible?
Any person age 18 or over is eligible to be an ENA Member as described in Section 4.1 of the ENA Bylaws (click here). Generally speaking this includes:

Such persons shall register annually with the ENA Secretary at least 21 days before the Annual Member Meeting.
To be eligible to vote at the Annual Members' Meeting, you must be a member as described above.
