GATHERING IN THE GARDEN: Celebrating Gardening & Appreciation of Community Green Spaces
Presented by the Eastmoreland Garden Club, co-sponsored by the Eastmoreland Neighborhood Association (ENA), with support from Southeast Uplift (SEUL).
Location: Eastmoreland Garden Park at SE Bybee and SE 27th Ave.
This event is being held to give the SE community the opportunity to enjoy neighborhood live music while shopping for organic tomato starts and more. Local vendors will sell perennials, native plants, garden tools and houseplants. The Portland Rose Society will sharpen hand pruners as time permits (1 per customer). Unique new and used garden accessories will be sold and a free children’s corner activity provided. Members of local non-profits representing SE green spaces will be on hand to provide information and answer your questions. The event is intended to encourage gardening and appreciation of our local environment.
