Join us on Saturday, May 14th, 10 AM to 2 PM, for a celebration of music, spring and gardening at the Eastmoreland Garden (at SE 27th and Bybee).
This event is sponsored by the Eastmoreland Garden Club. This event is being held to give the SE community the opportunity to enjoy neighborhood live music while shopping for organic tomato starts and more. Local vendors will sell landscaping plants, perennials, garden tools, wrought iron garden accessories, shrubs and houseplants. The Rose Society will sharpen hand pruners as time permits (1 per customer). Unique new and used garden art will be sold and a free children’s corner activity provided. Members of local non-profits representing SE green spaces will be on hand to provide information and answer your questions. The event is intended to encourage gardening and appreciation of our local environment.
Deb Moller, author of “GET READY! How to prepare for and stay safe after a Pacific Northwest Earthquake” will join us to answer questions and she’ll have copies of her book for sale.
Vendors and nonprofits participating include Arbutus Nursery, SymbiOp Garden Shop, Alison Joy of Plural, Red PigTools, Cherryville Enterprises, Quiet Clean PDX, Johnson Creek Watershed, ENA including the Tree Committee, Portland Rose Society, Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, Master Gardeners and more.
